Head of Product

About BlueAlpha
BlueAlpha helps growth organizations make decisions with strategic confidence and execute with greater operational efficiency. Our econometrics and causal inference models reveal what drives revenue, while our agentic marketing infrastructure turns those insights into action by automating workflows across growth operations. We’re already working with large enterprises to bring these capabilities into their teams.
As Head of Product, you’ll own BlueAlpha’s product direction, from identifying the most important customer problems to deciding what we build and making sure it works in practice. You’ll set the roadmap, make hard prioritization decisions, and take responsibility for whether our products improve how customers make decisions and act on them.
You’ll build that direction through close work with customers. You’ll own key customer relationships, sit alongside their teams, and personally lead deployments, working on-site when needed. You’ll understand how decisions get made, where workflows break down, and where our technology can make the biggest difference.
Some problems will be solvable with capabilities we already have. Others will reveal something we need to build. You’ll decide which needs call for a customer-specific solution and which should shape the core product, balancing immediate delivery with the long-term direction of BlueAlpha.
Our vision is to use the causal graphs generated through this work to train our own specialized small language models for growth decision-making. You’ll own the product roadmap that brings this vision into practice, connecting what our models can do with what customers need and delivering useful capabilities along the way.
This is a hands-on product leadership role. You’ll move from setting product priorities to working through a customer problem, configuring a workflow, or defining a solution with Engineering. You’ll bring Sales, Customer Impact, and Engineering together around a clear direction and stay accountable for the results.
What you’ll do
Own product strategy and the roadmap. Set a clear direction for BlueAlpha’s products based on customer needs, technical capabilities, and business priorities. Decide what we build, what waits, and what we choose not to pursue. Balance immediate customer commitments with investments that make the product more valuable across accounts.
Own key customer relationships. Be the primary day-to-day contact for the customers you lead. Build trust with users and the stakeholders responsible for results. Understand their goals, challenge assumptions, manage expectations, and follow through on commitments.
Work alongside customer teams. Get close to their workflows, systems, and decision-making. Sit with users as they work, understand the problem behind each request, and identify opportunities customers haven’t yet defined. You’ll work on-site with customers when needed to support discovery, deployment, and adoption.
Deploy our products yourself. Become an expert in BlueAlpha’s capabilities and own implementation from discovery and scoping through configuration, integration, testing, and launch. Work directly in the product with customers, troubleshoot issues, and partner with Engineering where deeper changes are needed.
Turn customer problems into scalable products. Identify patterns across accounts and translate them into clear product priorities. Distinguish a configuration issue from a missing capability, and a one-off request from something we should build for many customers. Make sure what we learn in each deployment strengthens the core product and reduces repeated custom work.
Lead product delivery across teams. Give Engineering clear problems, business context, and success criteria while working together on solutions. Align Sales and Customer Impact on priorities and delivery commitments. Resolve competing requests, explain tradeoffs, and keep decisions and execution moving.
Own adoption and product outcomes. Define success before launch, including edge cases and where human review is needed. Test workflows with users, support adoption, and improve solutions based on actual usage. Measure whether our products save time, reduce errors, and help customers make better decisions. Use those results to guide what comes next.
What you’ll bring
Experience owning product direction. You’ve set priorities and owned a roadmap for a technical product, made difficult tradeoffs, and been accountable for results. You can connect individual customer needs to a coherent product strategy.
Experience owning customer relationships. You’ve worked directly with customers, managed competing stakeholder priorities, and maintained trust when requirements changed or delivery didn’t go to plan. You’re comfortable working with both senior decision-makers and day-to-day users.
A technical background. You have a degree in computer science or a related field, previous software engineering experience, or equivalent practical experience. You can work through implementation decisions with engineers and get hands-on with configuration, integrations, and troubleshooting.
Evidence of delivery. You’ve led technical products from an ambiguous problem through launch and adoption, with clear evidence of customer or business impact. You stay involved until the solution works in practice.
Strong product judgment. You can assess which problems matter most, weigh impact against complexity, and recognize when a customer need should become a broader product capability. You can say no while maintaining trust.
Leadership across teams. You can bring commercial and technical teams together around clear priorities, resolve disagreements, and take responsibility for decisions.
Clear thinking and communication. You can turn a messy customer conversation into a specific problem, explain its business impact, and give Engineering enough context to act.
Initiative and comfort with ambiguity. You investigate without waiting for a detailed brief, make sound decisions with incomplete information, and adjust as you learn. You can balance several customers and priorities without losing sight of the product’s direction.
Practical curiosity about AI. You experiment with AI tools, evaluate where they’re useful, and care about whether they improve the outcome.
Experience in forward deployed engineering, customer-facing technical product leadership, or technical implementation is valuable. Familiarity with growth operations, marketing measurement, MMM, or attribution is also a plus.
