About BlueAlpha
BlueAlpha is the Decision Engine for Agent-Led Growth. We're building the system that turns every signal in a marketing stack into a real decision and executes it on-platform. Not a dashboard. Not a measurement vendor. Not another AI chatbot bolted onto a reporting tool.
This is an early-stage company where your work has a direct line to revenue, product, and company trajectory. If you want to build something that matters - not maintain something that already exists - this is the place to do it.
The Role
You'll be our first Go-To-Market Engineer - the person who builds the systems, automations, and products that power BlueAlpha's go-to-market engine. This isn't a marketing ops seat where you maintain someone else's HubSpot workflows. You'll be designing and shipping the infrastructure that makes our outbound, inbound, and product-led motions work: lead enrichment pipelines, intent-based routing, automated outreach sequences, competitive intelligence tools, and value-add products we embed directly into our sales and marketing flows.
Your toolkit spans Python, Zapier, n8n, HubSpot, APIs, MCPs, and whatever else gets the job done. You think like an engineer but orient around revenue. You're the kind of person who sees a manual process and immediately starts scheming how to automate it, enrich it, and make it 10x better.
What Success Looks Like
Manual GTM workflows become automated, reliable systems that run in the background and scale without headcount.
Outbound and inbound pipelines are enriched with real-time data — intent signals, competitive intel, firmographics — so every touchpoint is personalized and timely.
In your first two months, you've shipped at least one value-add product (a tool, report, or interactive asset) that we use in outreach to open doors and build credibility.
The sales and marketing team trusts the systems you've built and actively relies on them to hit targets.
You regularly assess and adjust signals, messaging, processes, and tools to ensure we’re constantly optimizing
Responsibilities
Build & own GTM infrastructure
Design, build, and maintain automation workflows across Zapier, n8n, HubSpot, and custom Python scripts.
Own the lead lifecycle from signal detection to enrichment to routing to outreach.
Integrate third-party tools and APIs (Apollo, Clay, Unify, LinkedIn, Slack, Google Ads) into a cohesive GTM stack.
Build and maintain data pipelines that keep our CRM, outreach tools, and reporting in sync.
Create value-add products for outbound & inbound
Build tools, reports, and interactive assets that we embed into email and LinkedIn outreach to provide genuine value to prospects.
Turn internal data (competitive benchmarks, ad-spend intelligence, agent outputs) into prospect-facing deliverables.
Prototype and ship quickly - think days, not quarters. Iterate based on what actually moves pipeline.
Improve & experiment relentlessly
Instrument everything: track what's working, what's not, and where the bottlenecks are.
Run experiments on outreach sequences, enrichment sources, and routing logic to improve conversion at every stage.
Stay current on new tools, APIs, and AI capabilities. If there's a better way to do something, find it and ship it.
Collaborate across the team
Work closely with sales, marketing, and data science to understand what they need and build it.
Document your systems so others can use, extend, and debug them.
Over time, help define the GTM engineering function and potentially grow a team around it.
Qualifications
Required:
CS, engineering, or a technical degree (or equivalent self-taught chops that you can demonstrate).
You can write Python confidently — not PhD-level, but you can build a data pipeline, hit an API, parse JSON, and automate a workflow without hand-holding.
You're a builder. You see a problem, you don't wait for a ticket — you start prototyping a solution.
You're resourceful and scrappy. You'll use Claude, ChatGPT, Stack Overflow, or whatever it takes to get unstuck and keep moving.
You operate at startup pace: high output, low ego, you do the unglamorous work and build what's missing.
You're excited about AI and how it's changing GTM. You've probably already built something with AI agents, LLM APIs, or automation tools just because you were curious.
Nice to Have (But Not Required)
Previous experience as a GTM Engineer, Growth Engineer, or Marketing Technologist.
Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Zapier/n8n, Slack APIs, or similar GTM tooling.
Familiarity with CRM data models, marketing automation platforms, or sales engagement tools.
Experience building or deploying AI agents, MCP integrations, or LLM-powered workflows.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
Equity: Meaningful ownership in BlueAlpha.
Benefits: Full health insurance coverage + unlimited PTO.
Impact: You'll build the systems that directly drive revenue. Your work ships, your metrics matter, and you'll have a direct line to leadership and product decisions.
